Karlie Has Plans to Go to the Football Game? Maybe Not.

Karlie lets her stepmother know of her plans to attend the Bishop Union HS Football game this evening. Whether she intended to go to the football game and didn't when other plans were formed or never intended to go to the football game... is unknown. What is known is that Karlie wasn't the first teenager to lie about where she was going to her parents.

Karlie Hangs Out With Her Boyfriend and 2-3 Other Friends

Karlie and her friends smoke marijuana. It is rumored to have been stolen from her brother Kane's "stash".

Trunk or Treat

Melissa attends Bishop's Trunk or Treat with her mom. It is unknown if her two boys were there. Her boys were roughly 8 and 9 years old at the time of Karlie's disappearance. Most moms would take their small children to an event such as this. Melissa has never been clear about when she went home. Some reports say as early at 7 p.m., other reports say closer to 8 p.m. She doesn't mention taking the boys home. If the boys were there, did they go home with their grandma?

Melissa Calls Karlie From Taco Bell

Melissa calls Karlie and asks her how she's getting home. She tells Karlie that she's getting food and then heading home. Karlie tells Melissa that her boyfriend Donald is taking her home. Karlie must have sounded fine on the phone. There was no indication that Karlie wasn't at the football game? The Bishop Union High School Football game was scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.

Karlie Doesn't Feel Well

Karlie tells her boyfriend that she isn't feeling well and wants to go home. They leave their friend's house and start walking to Donald's house. According to Donald (see above) as they were walking, Karlie became fearful. He tried to hug her and she "bit his side". She ran away in the darkness. He did not follow her. She first calls her step-grandma (Melissa's mom) asking to spend the night. Did Karlie's brothers go over to their grandma's house to spend the night after Trunk or Treat? Karlie's step-grandma has not spoken publicly about how she thought Karlie sounded. Her step-grandma told her to call her stepmother. Karlie then called Melissa for a ride.

Karlie Calls Melissa For A Ride (Version #1)

Karlie then called Melissa for a ride. In Melissa's Oct 22, 2018 FB Live she states, She was supposed to be at a football game. She had lied to me and told me that she was at the football game. Stepmother was angry.
Melissa was at home when Karlie called for a ride. On Dr. Phil's March 25, 2019 episode Dr. Phil asks Zac Guse, "Were you there when the call [from Karlie] came in?" Zac replies, "I was there, um, I didn't know what was going on. All she told me was 'I got to go get Karlie'."
Dr Phil, expecting more, replies, "Ok". Zac then states, "And, I mean at the time, I thought she was at the football game so I was kind of wondering why." Zac Guse was drinking heavily that night. He was so intoxicated that he has voiced regret that he wasn't more coherent. Was Melissa drinking with him not expecting Karlie to call for a ride? She may have had close to an hour at home before Karlie called. If Karlie sounded unusual to Melissa, why didn't she share her concerns with Zac who was allegedly with Melissa when Karlie called? Why keep that information from Karlie's father who claims to have only been told, "I got to go get Karlie"? Why did Zac only "kind of" wonder "why"? He didn't ask "why"?

Karlie Calls Melissa For A Ride (Version #2)

As crazy as it sounds, Melissa and Zac gave conflicting accounts of where they were when Karlie called for a ride. What's even crazier, is that they gave conflicting accounts within seconds of each other on the March 25, 2019 Dr Phil Show. After Zac finishes telling Dr. Phil he was there when the call came in for Karlie, Melissa then states, "when I first got in the driveway the phone rang and I talked to her..."
Melissa doesn't mention Zac being there in the driveway when she "first got in the driveway" Melissa has stated in the past that she received the phone call from Karlie as she was pulling up in the driveway from Taco Bell. For reasons we will leave the reader to decide, either Zac is lying about being with Melissa when she received Karlie's phone call or Melissa is lying about when/where she received Karlie's phone call. Why do either of them need to lie about a trivial detail? Why does Zac have the need to place himself at their home with Melissa at that time? Why does Melissa have the need to place herself as just arriving home at that time - not even entering the home yet? There is also no mention of Karlie's younger brothers being in the car (with Melissa) or the home (with Zac) at this time. It's like they weren't there. For reasons only they can explain (right now), they have a need to do that.

Melissa Picks Karlie Up (This is where things get really sketchy)

The following are quotes from various sources about this time period. ...the phone call dropped because we live outside of town. And when I finally got reconnected with her, she went from being behind Highlands to being a mile down the road - running down Dixon Lane, which is another street o-off of that area...physically running down the road with her cell phone. And that’s how I found her cos I could see the light on her phone and then she got into my car and...she didn't want to get in the front seat. She just wanted to get immediately in the car. So she just hopped in the seat right behind me...and it took about 15 minutes to get her to get calmed down but… (Melissa Guse, Dr Phil Show, March 25, 2019) uh, she was like scared, scared of, felt scared of us…(Zac Guse, Dr Phil Show, March 25, 2019) But as Melissa approached the location, she found Karlie already had left, and was frantically running on a dark lane. On the drive home, Karlie allegedly repeated she was scared, changed seats multiple times and was worried the vehicle would kill her. (Fox News, May 22, 2019) When Karlie was picked up by stepmom, Karlie was scared to get in her car and said she was scared she [Melissa] was going to kill her. One point Karlie reached to the front seat and grabbed the steering wheel. (Lindsay Fairley, YouTube, March 23, 2019) There is a theme emerging. Karlie was scared of Melissa.

KARLIE'S HOMECOMING

The news outlet also reported that teen's stepmother had recorded her voice, which sounded disoriented. Melissa allegedly wanted to be able to show her stepdaughter what she sounded like under the influence. However, that recording, according to private investigator Michael Boone was the last time Karlie's voice was heard before she vanished. IBtimes.com (international business times) 5/23/19------------------------------------ That night, Melissa said she made a secret audio recording of her disoriented stepdaughter so she would be able to later hear what she sounded like high. THE DARK EARLY MORNING HOURS BEFORE SUNRISE

What really happened the early morning hours of 10/13/18. The truth has vanished along with Karlie. Is is possible that the "Key" to were Karlie is could be locked away in code in the statements made by Melissa Guse the first minutes, hours, and days. Is is possible that her story building narrative starts with the secret Audio/Video she made of Karlie and continued with conversations she had with the first few people alerted to Karlie being "GONE". Zac, Lindsay, Donald? Is it possible she changed her tune as people started to ask questions trying to connect the dots? Do we believe her when she tells Nancy Grace that what she said was untrue (a Lie) in the beginning she did'nt know what to say. In this time frame she texted Karlies boyfriend Pray hard-Shes not ok but she will be-she got up and searched before she woke up Zac. What else did she do?

Under Construction

Establishing a timeline for Karlie's disappearance is a painstakingly arduous procedure as the people to last see her have changed their stories many times.
